Starting on April 1st 2022, vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers arriving in Thailand will no longer have to take a PCR test before they leave their own country, however, visitors will still need to take a PCR test once they land. Requirements for entry were published yesterday in the Royal Gazette making it official. Unvaccinated travellers, or those who do not meet Thailand's vaccine requirements, must isolate at an approved hotel or resort for 5 days under the ASQ scheme and then undergo a Covid test before they are released. Vaccinated travellers who enter under the Test and Go scheme must book one night in an approved hotel on their 1st night, the hotel packages give you a test on arrival and upon a negative result can leave the hotel and travel anywhere in Thailand. You will then need to take a rapid antigen test on day 5 and report the result
